New SSDs based on 3D XPoint technology are intended for enthusiasts and professionals engaged in photo and video processing, game development, etc.

The Intel Optane SSD 900P is extremely fast thanks to the new 3D XPoint memory, but it's also expensive, as this latest technology is in high demand now. For more than a decade, Intel and Micron have jointly created 3D XPoint memory as a part of a closed secret project in1966. Developers still do not disclose the details of this technology, although third-party companies confirm the information that this is one of the forms of memory based on the phase transition (Phase-change memory, PCM).

ZOTAC ZBOX PI225 and ZOTAC ZBOX PI335 mini PCs represent a perfect combination of rather compact sizes and attractive price marks. Both devices are based on a 2-core 6 W Intel Celeron N3350 (2/2 x 1.1–2.4 GHz) processing unit of the Intel Apollo Lake series, equipped with the integrated Intel HD Graphics 500 graphics core. The model features merely 25.15x14.5x4.19 mm dimensions, but it still manages to gladden all potential customers with a wide range of interfaces and the highest performance. LPC-480 is based on a mobile Intel Core i7-3610QE processor (Ivy Bridge) and comes with the integrated Intel HD Graphics 4000 graphics. The system logic is organized on Intel HM76 Express chipset.


Mini-PC Stealth LPC-480 is housed in a low-profile aluminum case. The frontal panel accommodates standard slots for the connection of headphones/microphone and four USB 3.0 ports. The rear panel is distinguished by the availability of RJ-45 port, a couple of COM ports, the same number of PS/2 and USB 2.0 ports, a linear audio output, DC-input, as well as video ports (VGA and DVI-D).
