Recently, the main chipmakers offer three types of system logic for their platforms, which include top-end solutions for production systems designed also for extreme overclocking, average ones for most gaming systems and budget options for office PCs or undemanding users. At AMD, the chipsets X370, B350 and A320 now meet these criteria.


Soldering mid-level hub does not affect the capabilities of the board overclocking. Much greater restrictions are imposed by the schemes of power regulators and the chosen way of their implementation, and only then one may complain about the possibilities available in the UEFI environment. So, let’s get acquainted with the senior board represented by the ASRock company, in the structure of which B350 is included (there are five of them at the time of this review witing). Processors AMD Ryzen pulled a significant market position, creating a long-expected competition between Intel and AMD in the user segment. Each platform has its strengths and weaknesses, but the very presence of choice is already an important plus. The appearance of the new platform also dragged along adjacent areas, for example, a new socket, which would require a high-level upgrade of the cooling system. NZXT, a company known for the development of multifarious hardware products for gamers and PC enthusiasts, announced a new generation of chassis, supplementing Phantom series. The first model designed under new technologies is codenamed Phantom 820 and will go in Full-Tower form factor. The company promises that the new product will preserve 'gaming-like' external integration with futuristic design, transparent acrylic window with bright lighting, and angular casing lines.



NZXT Phantom 820 will be compatible with a range of motherboard standards, including uITX, mATX, ATX, E-ATX, and XL-ATX. Its dimensions allow for the integration of six 3.5/2.5-inch drives, four 5.25-inch drives, nine slots for expansion cards of PCI standard, and graphics adapters of up to 350 mm in length (with two HDD bays).
