The First Take on Versa N23 Chassis from Thermaltake

Thermaltake PC cases have never been a frustration. The Versa N23 is not an exception. It is a combination of functionality balanced with modern styling and a bit of company’s passion. The middle-tower chassis draws attention by the front panel with light-blue insertions against black panel. The other attraction is the right-side panel with an integrated acrylic window.



Thermaltake Versa N23 is intended to accommodate mini-ITX, micro-ATX and ATX motherboards with the maximum of 7 expansion slots. The availability of ODD bays enables the installation of two 5.25-inch drives. The layout also welcomes five 3.5-/2.5-inch drives which might be mounted without any tools.


Internal space is enough for 160-mm high CPU coolers, PS/2 ATX power supply units and 250-mm long graphics cards. If retrieving unnecessary drive bays from the bottom section, there is a chance to install 360-mm long videocards.

Eizo Foris FS2735 – Review of a Japanese Gaming Monitor

Introduction

Eizo chose the path that is pretty close to the solutions of ASUS and Acer. The monitor is equipped with the 27-inch IPS panel with 2.560 x 1.440 resolution, so you do not need such a powerful video card as for a 34-inch display with a resolution of 3.440 x 1.440 pixels and UHD monitors. The maximum refresh rate of 144 Hz is quite high, in combination with AMD FreeSync technology the user gets a very smooth gameplay. The bottom bar of FreeSync is 35 Hz. But Eizo has other trump cards in the sleeve. For example, a customer can manage the Foris FS2735 using a smartphone, communicating with the cloud. And it is possible to share your own settings with other gamers.


Of course, the price is appropriate: a customer will have to give 1.099 euros for the given monitor. Service support for Eizo is also the best, as you get a five-year warranty and a replacement on the spot in case of a damage or inappropriate work.

Silicon Power Unveils Armor A85M External Storage

Silicon Power Computer & Communications is about to kick off with the newest stress-proof external drive, entitled Armor A85M. The model, targeting Mac users, features 132.5x92.3x25.9 mm dimensions and completely complies with MIL-STD 810G Method 516.6 Procedure IV standard. It also enjoys IP68 protection rating. The new-comer will be shipped with a 3-year’s warranty; however, pricing is unknown yet.



The storage is thought to operate within a wide thermal range – from 5 to 55 C degrees. Moreover, it might be employed in tough conditions, i.e. submergence, fall from a height of 1.2 m, storing in extreme colds/heat (-40 C degrees — +70 C degrees).
